BITS PILANI:-

Established in 1964, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is one of the most prestigious and biggest names in engineering colleges in the country. It is a Private University 9Deemed).

The entrance test for the university has the difficulty level as that of JEE. The institute is backed by the Aditya Birla Group and has also expanded its campus to its first international campus in Dubai after its 4 well-established campuses in the country, in Pilani, Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan), Goa and Hyderabad.

The University has various affiliations- ACU, UGC, NAAC, PCI, and AIU. The University conducts a pure merit-based All-India computerized entrance examination, BITSAT. The university has made a huge name in its field of the corporate sector, entrepreneurship, academia and more.

DELHI TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY:-

DTU, Delhi Technology University is a prestigious public university, established in the year 1941 under the control of the government as Delhi Polytechnic.

This University is one of the first universities of Engineering in India and comes under a public (Government-owned) institute. Regarded as one of the top Engineering universities in the country, it currently has approximately 9045 students which include 7170 students for undergraduate courses and 898 students for postgraduate courses.

The university has Autonomous affiliation and offers multiple courses that include B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), (Maters of Technology), Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy as well as M.B.A (Masters of Business Administration) and M.Sc (Master of Science).

The admission process is conducted through a Joint Admission Counselling and on the basis of AIR, All-India Rank that is secured by the students in the Joint Entrance Exam- Main (JEE) for bachelor aspirants. And the admission of postgraduate is done through qualifying the GATE examination i.e. Graduate Aptitude in Engineering.

The fee structure is approximately around Rs 1,03,500 in AY 2020-21. The University also offers many scholarship opportunities for their students on various bases which are listed in more detail on their official website.

ANNA UNIVERSITY, CHENNAI:-

Situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the 42-year-old University, Anna University is rated 9th in the nation for its engineering studies. I

n 2018, Anna University was rated as the 10th best ‘Institute’ in the country, ranked 4th in ‘University’ and 8th among ‘Engineering institutes’. The university is also very well known for its postgraduate programs- M.B.A, M.C.A, M.E, M.Arch, and M.Plan.

For the admissions of the students, they have to clear the TANCET- Tamil Nadu Entrance Test conducted by Anna University on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government.

Currently, the university holds an approximate number of 18,372 students which includes 11,049 students for undergraduate courses and 4,455 students for post-graduation courses.

NETAJI SUBHAS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (NSIT):-

This University is not only known for its full-time study curriculum but also its part-time courses in multiple different subjects offered on online platforms like Swayam.

The courses offered online are created by the professor of the university itself and are extremely affordable and accessible to anyone and everyone willing to learn.

Established in 1983, Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) is situated in Dwarka, New Delhi. It is an autonomous institution that comes under the government of Delhi, i.e. it is a public institution.

The fee structure for the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) course of the duration of 4 years is Rs. 2,28,600
The fee structure for the Master of Technology (M.Tech) course of the duration of 2 years is Rs. 1,14,300
The fee structure for a Ph.D. of the duration of 3 years is Rs 1, 71,000.

The admission in this University happens through the Joint Admission Delhi (JAC- Delhi). The University offers various courses in all B.E, M.Tech and doctorate courses.

Established in 1955, Jadavpur University is a public state university located in Kolkata. It is one of the most prestigious names in education in not only the field of engineering but also in many other fields.

The fees structure for Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech) as well as for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) courses for the duration of 4 years each is Rs 2400 per year. The university also offers Bachelor’s in Science (B.Sc) amongst its many other subject fields in a similar fee structure.

The university has achieved autonomous status under UGC status in the year 2018 and has ranked 12th among engineering institutes and 6th among universities all over India according to NIRF in 2018.

The Admission to UG Courses (B.Tech/B.E, B.Arch, B.Pharm) is based on the student’s WBJEE NATA Score Card.
The Admission to PG Courses (MCA, ME/M.Tech. and M.Pharm) are based on GATE, GPAT, and WBJECA.
