Mass media includes a wide array of media technologies that reach a large audience via Mass Communication.

Mass communication means exchanging or providing information to the audience through different types of communications like Audio Visual, Advertising, Public Relations, and Journalism.

They have the opportunity to work and learn with educated and creative people in the industry. It develops the thinking capacity of an individual and helps them to think out of the box. Like every coin has two sides, so does this field. There are limitations on Content; One can’t produce content appropriate for all ages, which limits the reach of the content, thus Censor Board. It can get risky, as people take offense to anything and everything these days.

Though there are rumors surrounding Mass Media as not a good career option, the statistics and data surrounding the field would defy it.

It’s your choice to visualize the glass as half full or empty. If we compare the Pros and Cons, the Pros easily outweigh the Cons.

So just go for your passion, rather than what other people say. If you are good at it, you will be able to cash it.
