Is Law a career building option?

Lawyer is a person who finds loop-holes in a system. If we look at the history Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Franz Kafka, Abraham Lincoln- all these famous personalities were famous lawyers as well. For a long time, Law is being considered as a popular career option. Though a smaller number of students pursue this career skill, the number is growing day by day which is showing increasing demand of the law profession. Specially students whose family’s ones in this profession give special importance to this career and go for this career. However, if you want to be a lawyer it is not mandatory that you need to have a family background in this career, the things that you need to have to be successful in this career is patience and logical thinking.

Yes! In India it takes a lot of time to get judgement, so you need to have lots of patience. Indian constitution considered to be one of the complex constitutions of the world. So, surely you need to think logically.

Now to be certified lawyer you can pursue this career either after HSC for 5 years or for 3 years after graduation. And from the below roles you can select your specialization:

-Legal Advisor

-Government Lawyer

-Legal Analyst

-Legal Journalist

-Document Drafting Lawyer

-Civil Legislation Lawyer

-Judge; etc.

And once you completed this course in one this specialization you able to get various jobs like-

-Practicing as a advocate in a court

-Working as a legal advisor for the organization

-Practicing with corporate firms

-Working as solicitor general on public prosecutors

-Offer services to government departments; etc.

But remember one thing before pursuing LLB, please be sure that your college is certified with bar council of India.

And also remember, only passing the law and having the certificate is not enough, you need to work hard and think logically in order to be successful.
